FAQ

Your shop appears to be sold out. How can I buy your work?

I am a one woman operation. I make my work in small batches that I list in my shop all at once. I usually have a shop update once every four to six weeks. When I know the date and time that I will have restock, I will send word out via my mailing list before I ever annouce it on social media. This gives my mailing list a better chance at snagging their desired piece. A couple hours or so after the shop goes live, I’ll then post about it on my socials.. I give the exact time of the shop update, and things tend to sell out in a few minutes, so I encourage anyone interested to visit the shop at that exact time. If you click ‘log in’ from the menu, you can make an account so that all your info is saved and ready to go when the updates go live. This will save you time in checkout. Make sure you are logged in when the update goes live.

Can I reserve an item/preorder/commission you for a piece?

I do not take any holds/preorders or commissions. It has always felt too overwhelming and stressful. Having an expectation attached to any piece, even if it’s mostly all in my head, completely changes the whole experience of making work for me.
All items are on a first come, first served basis in the shop update.

I had an item in my cart, but then it disappeared! What happened?
Items are not held in your cart. It goes to the first person to complete the checkout process, so I recommend having all your payment info handy, or already having an account set up with my shop so that your info is saved already.

Will you be making more of ‘this item/that item’?

Likely, but not guaranteed. I rotate items out regularly from update to update to keep from getting bored. I don’t take commissions, but I always listen to suggestions, so always feel free to let me know what you’d like to see! The woodland mugs are a love and a staple of mine, so they will likely always be a part of my regular work.

Are your items dishwasher/microwave safe?

Technically yes. They are made from the same type of clay and glazes many potters use to make a huge variety of pottery, be it sculptural or very traditional and minimalist. There is no reason one of my very intricately detailed mugs can’t be microwaved or placed in the dishwasher. However, I would say gently hand washing is always the safest bet, and perhaps pouring from the kettle as opposed to microwaving. I’ve microwaved my own work many times, but can’t make any guarantees. I’ve also heard other potters say harsh detergents, especially those that typically get used in dishwashers, are bad for the surface of pottery. I’ve rarely had a dishwasher in my life so I have no experience on that one. Just know that all pottery has its breaking point, so handle with care. <3

How do you ship? Do you combine multiple orders?

As of now, everything gets packed in a new box with biodegradable materials and no plastics or peanuts.
Domestic orders are shipped via USPS, and there is no addition shipping after checkout for any US order (including Alaska or Hawaii). This also stands for multiple orders, as It is often that people will buy multiple items in separate orders to ensure they are fast enough to get at least one item before it sells out. I’m very used to this, and will ship your items together as long as it can be done safely, but they may arrive in sepperate boxes if needed (boxes will be marked “box 1 of 2, 2 of 2”, etc…). You will receive a tracking number via email when your order is ready to be picked up by the carrier, and will be on its way as soon as they do. International orders are calculated at checkout, and may also arrive combined or seperate. Feel free to reach out to me vie email or Instagram if you have any questions about your order.

Local pickup is lso an option for the Phoenix area.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yup! I’ll ship anywhere! This will be done via USPS. Keep in mind that pottery can have some weight to it, and that makes shipping a bit pricey. The total should be calculated at checkout. Also be aware that if you pay a tax to receive international goods, you are responsible for those fees. I do not lie on customs forms as this puts my business at risk. I send out shipping confirmations and tracking numbers with each order. If you have multiple orders, I will pack them together if it can be done safely, and I refund the shipping overage if there is any.
