Completely hand sculpted from an earthy red clay. Will hold your beverage with sass. Also has a tiny friend on the handle to keep you company.

*The celadon glaze I put on the interior of this mug formed a bit of a crackle effect, unexpectedly. A photo is included where this is visible. Some potters think this is bad for fear it will hold bacteria, however I don’t think I own a single mug that didn’t form this kind of crazing on the inside over time, regardless. I bet if you go check all your own well-loved mugs, most of them have a nice coffee/tea stained crackle pattern of their own. Therefore I don’t consider this mug a second. I just like to be transparent about these things. :)

Fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln.

It is microwave safe. Just be cautious when removing from the microwave. I’ve found red clays to feel hotter to the touch after nuking. Possibly the higher iron content, but that’s just a hunch so don’t quote me on that.

Also dishwasher safe, but I always recommend hand washing.
