"Well Worn Path" - Ceramic Wall Piece

Hand made from red stoneware. The landscape “painting” is added via colored engobes, underglazes, oxides, and meticulously carving onto the surface. It is fired onto the piece and permanent. (No actual paint is used. It’s all ceramic)
This hand built hollow box form can be hung on the wall with a sturdy nail, or can sit on a shelf against the wall. I’ll include a small amount of museum putty (very strong sticky tac made for holding fragile items in place) for a little extra “insurance” that it doesn’t tip forward if you want it on a shelf. :)
Fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln.
